Over the past few years school board races across the state have become more and more divisive. The ability to bring people together and work toward common sense solutions that put students and families first is often in short supply.
As the former Chair of the Eden Prairie School Board, I have seen first-hand DD’s commitment to serving our community, and I can say from personal experience that he is the sort of unifier that more school boards need. To achieve continued success in educating our children, stability in leadership is very important. Re-electing DD to the school board will provide that stability.
DD is focused on the community and its students, parents, and teachers. Rather than seeking to promote a personal agenda, DD listens and seeks to understand problems and concerns. He seeks out the facts and discusses complex topics logically and sensibly. Among groups with diverse opinions, he tries to find common ground and is not afraid to change his mind if presented with new information.
DD is always open to conversation with parents and community members. His ability to genuinely listen and learn makes him an excellent school board member. He truly wants to hear the stories of students, parents, and staff because it is important to him that his service reflects the values of all of the Eden Prairie community.
I have seen DD’s dedication while serving on the Board with him and I know the students, parents, and staff are in good hands with his continued service. I therefore proudly endorse Debjyoti “DD” Dwivedy for his reelection to Eden Prairie School Board and will encourage you to join me in voting for him on Nov. 8, 2022.
Elaine Larabee, Eden Prairie
