Monday, Feb. 13
The week begins with the seventh-ranked Eden Prairie Eagles girls basketball team, coming off their 83-40 win over Buffalo on senior night Friday, traveling to Saint Michael-Albertville to take on the Knights. It’s the first of three games for the Eagles this week. The action starts at 7 p.m.
The Eagles girls 9A, 10 and JV teams will join the varsity, with games at Saint Michael-Albertville.
The Eden Prairie boys basketball team, looking to rebound from their narrow 81-80 loss to Buffalo on Friday, will host Saint Michael-Albertville on Monday in the main gym at Eden Prairie High School. Opening tip is 7 p.m.
The Eagles boys 9A, 9B, 10, and JV teams also have games against Saint Michael-Albertville at EPHS.
Please note that all boys games with St. Michael-Albertville have been changed from their original date of Feb. 14.
The Eden Prairie High School choir hosts a performance at Central Middle School from 7-9 p.m. A choir concert will be held from 6-7 p.m. at the CMS Performing Arts Center.
Tuesday, Feb. 14
The boys basketball games for 9A, 9B, 10, JV and varsity teams have been rescheduled from Tuesday, Feb. 14, and will be played on Monday, Feb. 13.
The Eden Prairie Central Middle School band combines forces with the Prior Lake band to perform in a joint concert at the CMS Performing Arts Center. The show begins at 7 p.m.
Wednesday, Feb. 15
Both the boys and girls Nordic ski teams will compete at the state meet at Giant’s Ridge Golf & Ski Resort in Biwabik, Minnesota on Wednesday and Thursday. The boys won the section 2A tournament last week, while the girls came in second. The sprint relay will race on Wednesday, while the pursuers will compete on Thursday at Giant’s Ridge.
Thursday, Feb. 16
The No. 7 ranked Eagles girls basketball team hopes to avenge a 54-52 loss to Wayzata on Jan. 24 when they host the third-ranked Trojans in the main gym at EPHS. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
The girls 9A, 10 and JV teams will also host Wayzata. Please note these games have been rescheduled from their original date of Feb. 17
The Eden Prairie boys basketball team travels to fourth-ranked Wayzata to take on the Trojans with the opening tip at 7 p.m.
The Eagles boys 9A, 9B, 10, and JV teams are also on the road at Wayzata.
The Eden Prairie boys hockey team is looking to bounce back from their 4-0 loss to No. 6 Wayzata last Saturday when they take on top-ranked Minnetonka. Opening faceoff is 7 p.m. at PAGEL Ice Arena.
The boys JV hockey team will take on the Skippers prior to the varsity game.
The boys and girls Nordic ski teams continue their competition at the state meet at Giant’s Ridge Golf & Ski Resort in Biwabik, Minnesota. The pursuers will compete in Thursday’s competition at Giant’s Ridge.
The Eden Prairie choir will perform at Central Middle School from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The performance follows a choir concert at the CMS Performing Arts Center at 6 p.m.
Friday, Feb. 17
The Eden Prairie High School girls gymnastics team competes in the section tournament at New Prague Gymnastics Club. Competition begins at 5 p.m.
The fourth-ranked Eagles wrestling team is in sectional competition. The action begins at 5:30 p.m. in the main gym at Eden Prairie High School.
Saturday, Feb. 18
Coming off their capture of the Lake Conference championship last week, the Eden Prairie boys swimming and diving team will compete in an invitational meet at Dakota Hills Middle School. The team is looking forward to the sectional meet, which takes place Feb. 22-24. The first event on Saturday begins at 10 a.m.
The boys JV swimming and diving team will compete against multiple schools in a meet in the MME pool at Minnetonka High School. This is a swimming-only competition; there will be no diving in the event, which starts at 1 p.m.
The sixth-ranked Eden Prairie girls basketball team will host fifth-ranked Maple Grove in a crosstown showdown rescheduled from Dec. 22. Opening tip is at 2 p.m. in the main gym at EPHS.
Girls 9A, 10 and JV basketball teams will also host Maple Grove at Eden Prairie High School.
The Eden Prairie boys hockey team closes out their regular season on the road at Buffalo. Opening faceoff is at 3 p.m. following the boys JV game with the Bison at Buffalo Ice Arena.
