SouthWest Transit will provide transportation from SouthWest Station in Eden Prairie and SouthWest Village in Chanhassen to the Taylor Swift concerts at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Friday and Saturday nights.
The ride is part of its “Concert Series” service offer throughout the summer and fall, available for a $5 round trip, according to a Tuesday press release.
With Swift coming to town, SouthWest Transit will be amping up services, with a minimum of six buses used each day of the concert.
The two Taylor Swift concerts will each begin at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at U.S. Bank Stadium, with pickups from SouthWest Village in Chanhassen at 4:40 p.m. and the SouthWest Station in Eden Prairie at 4:50 p.m., arriving downtown at 5:30 p.m.
The pickup and drop-off location near the stadium will be at Gateway (Washington and 3rd).
SouthWest Transit allows tickets to be purchased for the bus before the event via the Token Transit App on iOS or Android (info found by clicking here). Other concerts SouthWest Transit plans to provide service include Beyoncé, P!nk, and Ed Sheeran, wrapping up the year with Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks.
SouthWest Transit provides public transit service for Chanhassen, Chaska, and Eden Prairie. It also offers express bus service to Minneapolis and the University of Minnesota.
