From home furnishings and clothing to sports equipment and toys, visitors to the Eden Prairie High School (EPHS) Bands Gigantic Garage Sale are sure to find useful items, perhaps even hidden treasures.
The sale will be held 12 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 19 at EPHS’ East Commons (use the East entrance). From 4 to 6 p.m., all you can fit in a bag is just $5. Wingman Matt will also have a food truck outside during the sale.
The annual sale is being organized by the Eden Prairie Band Parent Organization (BPO), which is made up of parent volunteers. All proceeds go to support the EPHS Band Program.
“This is one of the BPO’s biggest fundraisers of the year, and it all goes back into the bands, to support the program,” said Carina Smith, one of the BPO parents organizing the sale.
Items for sale were all donated by the community, including bikes, bedding, books, games, puzzles, home decor, kids’ toys, clothing, shoes, concert attire (from previous band concerts), kitchen stuff, sporting goods, tools, and more.
On Tuesday, July 18, donations will be accepted 5 to 8 p.m. at the East entrance of the high school. Donation guidelines are here.
