A high-speed chase involving two stolen vehicles led to four juveniles being arrested Saturday morning.
Eden Prairie police, according to a spokesperson, assisted Carver County Sheriff deputies in pursuing a stolen black Kia SUV. Carver County had earlier advised that a black Toyota Camry was believed to be traveling with the stolen Kia.
At about 9 a.m., Eden Prairie officers spotted both vehicles heading east at high speeds on Highway 212 near Prairie Center Drive. Officials initiated a pursuit when the vehicles continued to flee.
State Patrol troopers deployed stop sticks, which led to the Kia crashing on Highway 62 near France Avenue in Edina. The four juvenile occupants were taken into custody and transported to Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis for evaluation.
The Toyota Camry continued to flee eastbound on Hwy. 62 when officers stopped for the crash. It was later determined that the Toyota was also reported as stolen.
