On Tuesday, Feb. 27, voters across Minnesota will be gathering in our neighborhoods for precinct caucuses. If you care about issues like lower taxes, better schools, and safer neighborhoods, I encourage you to come to a Republican caucus.
To participate, you will be asked to confirm that you agree generally to the principles of the Party. You don’t have to agree with EVERY Republican candidate’s opinions. Just consider this: What principles and policies do you think are best for your family and state?
There is too much at stake to be a spectator. If we care about returning fiscal responsibility to the state Legislature, we must exercise our influence on elections starting Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the Republican Party precinct caucuses.
The Republican Caucus for Senate District 49 will take place at Eden Prairie Central Middle School, 8025 School Road. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., rally at 6 p.m., caucus is 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sign up to attend at 49mngop.com.
Not sure? You are always welcome to come to a Republican caucus and just observe.
Afraid that your vote doesn’t matter? There ARE winnable races in our state, and each one will make a difference. Don’t give up! Good government starts with you and me.
Information for all parties and precincts can be found at sos.state.mn.us/elections-voting.
