If anyone can make “fetch” happen, it’s the theatre kids at PiM Arts High School.
Tickets are on sale now for the school’s upcoming rendition of the hit Broadway musical “Mean Girls,” with performances on Friday through Sunday, March 1-3, and Thursday through Saturday, March 7-9. Seats are going quickly — March 1 and 2 shows are already sold out, and March 3 is almost sold out.
The show is based on Tina Fey’s hit 2004 film of the same name.
The story follows “new kid” Cady Heron, who, despite growing up on an African savanna, is not prepared for the viciousness of the high school hallways. Egged on by her new friends Damian and Janis, Cady rises to the top of the high school “food chain” by taking on The Plastics — a trio of popular frenemies led by the iconic Regina George.
Director Rachel Brady said, “I’m so excited to share this story with our community. With iconic characters, incredibly catchy and exciting music, and an important story about acceptance, belonging, and high school culture, it’s been very rewarding to tackle this story with this amazing group of students.”
“Mean Girls” performs at the White Box Theatre at PiM Arts High School on March 1 and 2 at 7 p.m., March 3 at 2 p.m., and March 7-9 at 7 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for students, and are available for purchase here.
