Shear Bliss hair and beauty salon to open at Eden Prairie Center
Shear Bliss, a family-run hair and beauty salon, is set to open at Eden Prairie Center mall on April 5.
The salon, operated by Cory and Jessica Zimmer, a husband-and-wife team, showcases Jessica’s 16 years of hairstyling expertise.
This opening marks the second location for Shear Bliss, with its original establishment in North Dakota. The new salon will occupy the former MasterCuts space in Suite 2168 of the mall.
“We’re excited to welcome Shear Bliss to our family of tenants to expand our hair and beauty offerings,” said Nancy Litwin, Eden Prairie Center’s senior general manager.
Paulsen named to Minnesota Private Business Council advisory board
Erik Paulsen, a Republican former U.S. representative for Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District, which includes Eden Prairie, is among those recently named to the advisory board of the Minnesota Private Business Council (MPBC).
According to a press release, the MPBC is comprised of privately held businesses from a broad array of Minnesota industries and advocates for policies leading to job growth, new business creation and entrepreneurship, and broad-based well-being for Minnesota’s workers and their families.
“MPBC was formed just 10 months ago to fight for the commonsense policies needed to grow our economy, advance public safety, and deliver a brighter future for all Minnesotans, ” said Jim Schultz, president of the MPBC. The formation of this advisory board is a testament to the broad coalition we have built in that effort. Each member brings a unique perspective, a wealth of experience and dedication to the cause.”
Additional members of the 12-person advisory board include Republican former U.S. Sen. Norm Coleman; Vin Weber, a Republican former U.S. representative for the 2nd and 6th congressional districts; Brian Peters, executive director of the Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association; and Jason George, business manager/financial secretary for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 49.
