As Eden Prairie Schools continues its search for the next Eden Prairie High School (EPHS) principal to replace outgoing Principal Nate Gibbs, the district will host an in-person community conversation with candidates for the role.
The event will take place from 5 to 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, at the Eagles Development Center, 8100 School Road. Attendees can RSVP for the event and submit an interview question for candidates at this link.
Interpretation services and light snacks will be provided at the event.
During the conversation, up to three finalists for the position will talk about their background and interest in the position, as well as answer some questions. Some of the questions will be determined in advance, and attendees can also submit questions that night.
Community participants will be asked to score each candidate’s responses to the questions and offer any additional feedback. In order to evaluate responses fairly, the district has requested that attendees stay for all three interviews if they choose to participate.
The district has been working for several weeks to engage in a collaborative selection process to find a new principal. This process includes meetings with EPHS students, faculty leaders, and administrators. More information about the search process can be found on the district’s website.
Community members who want to share thoughts but cannot attend the community conversation can still complete the EPHS Principal Search Survey. Questions can be directed to communications@edenpr.org.
