Incoming Eden Prairie Schools kindergarteners are invited to register for free summer KinderCamp sessions to get a head start on their upcoming school year.
The program is designed to familiarize incoming kindergarteners with their new school environment, as well as allow them to meet other students and some of the teachers before school starts.
Students will experience elements of a typical kindergarten day, including:
- Tours of the building.
- Meeting new friends.
- Learning about their school.
- Spending time in their new school building.
KinderCamp is taught by Eden Prairie Schools teachers, so students will be able to meet them and other important school staff each day. Students will not necessarily be placed with their kindergarten teacher, as final placements will not be completed until closer to the start of the year.
Families can register their students for KinderCamp here. Families of students in kindergarten through grade 12 who plan to attend Eden Prairie Schools this fall but are not yet enrolled can learn more about the process here. Contact the district at (952) 975-7000, or visit the Welcome Center at 8100 School Road.
