Reservations should be made as soon as possible for late July walking tours of Metro Green Line Extension worksites in Eden Prairie, Minnetonka, and Hopkins. Project officials lead the free, popular tours. Details, considerations, and an online reservation form are available on the project’s website here.
The tours are limited to 15 people. As of Wednesday, July 17, the following tours have openings:
- Blake Road Station (Hopkins); Friday, July 26: 10-11 a.m.
- City West Station and Highway 62 tunnel (Eden Prairie); Saturday, July 27: 1-2:30 p.m.
- Opus Station and Highway 62 tunnel (Minnetonka); Saturday, July 27: 1-2:30 p.m.
The City West and Opus tours both include a walk through the Highway 62 tunnel. The project requests that reservations be made for only one of these tours.
