Eden Prairie residents will cast their votes in the Minnesota primary on Tuesday. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. statewide. Voters in line by 8 p.m. can still cast their ballots.
Key races on the ballot in Eden Prairie
- U.S. Senate race
- Republican primary: Royce White, the GOP-endorsed candidate and former professional basketball player, faces a challenge from Joe Fraser, a Navy veteran. Additional Republican candidates include John Berman, Loner Blue, Alycia R. Gruenhagen, Patrick D. Munro, Raymond D. Petersen, and Christopher Seymore Sr.
- Democratic primary: Incumbent U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar is running against challengers Steve Carlson, Ahmad R. Hassan, George H. Kalberer, and Ole Savior.
- House District 49A: Voters in Eden Prairie’s northern precincts (1 through 7) will choose between Democratic candidates Kissy Coakley and the party-endorsed Alex Falconer. The winner will face Republican Stacy Bettison in November. This race is to replace retiring state Rep. Laurie Pryor. (Bettison’s name will also appear on the primary ballot. In races where one party has multiple candidates, all parties’ candidates will be listed for the given seat.)

Visit the Minnesota Secretary of State’s website to locate your polling place and find out what’s on your particular ballot. Eden Prairie has 20 precincts, and you can view a map here.
Register to vote or update your registration online. You may also register in person at your polling place on Election Day with valid identification.
