Carlie Kotyza-Witthuhn and Alex Falconer are each running for the MN House of Representatives under the banner of the DFL party. They are proud of the positive work the Democrats were able to enact in the last two years. We Dems believe that our state government is a positive force for good in our communities, such as in helping families find affordable child care, providing strong schools, and for protecting women’s reproductive health, among many accomplishments in the last two years.
Did you know, in contrast, that the GOP House caucus in the last biennium introduced six anti-abortion bills or a conspiracy theory bill on chemtrails? I’m not surprised that the local GOP candidates are not making their GOP connections clear and are hiding the fact that their party has gone off the rails with Trump and Vance and embarrassments like Royce White. Yes, the local GOP candidates might sound like moderates, but they will certainly vote with their party in the MN House, and they will be supporting the plans of the GOP. Don’t be fooled.
