As I walked into the pop-up store on the second floor of Eden Prairie Center mall, the gentle hum of conversation mingled with the glow of crystals and the soothing aroma of essential oils. This wasn’t your typical holiday market – it felt more like a portal into a world of curiosity and connection.
The Small Business Saturday with a Twist of Curiosity event on Nov. 30 was more than just a shopping experience – it was a journey into the mystical, the creative and the community-centered. From curated crystals to intuitive readings, this unusual expo, hosted by The Edge Magazine and 2GuysInTheKnow, offered an inviting blend of holiday shopping and holistic exploration.
The venue buzzed with a welcoming energy as local artisans and spiritual practitioners displayed their crafts. Handcrafted jewelry from Divine Creations, pendulums and gemstone bracelets sparkled under the lights, catching the eye of passersby. The thoughtful layout of the booths encouraged attendees to linger, explore and connect with the creators behind the items. Vendors such as Blessed to Manifest offered an eclectic mix of products, from manifesting candles to herbal energy balms, each infused with intention and care. A standout feature was Magic of Alchemy’s candles and infused oils, perfect for creating a harmonious home environment.
The variety of tarot and oracle decks from The Edge Magazine was impressive, catering to everyone from seasoned readers to curious beginners. Paired with books on metaphysical topics, astrology and mindfulness, it was a treasure trove for the spiritually curious. One vendor even offered an interactive “pull one card for $3” experience, adding a playful and personal touch to the day.
Shoppers could indulge in crystal collections, including raw amethyst, polished quartz and vibrant pyramids, while learning about their healing and energetic properties. For wellness enthusiasts, dōTERRA Wellness Advocates offered a range of essential oils and therapeutic products, while Simply Healing showcased healing CDs and spiritual bracelets.
Just in time for the holidays, the event was the perfect place to find thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gifts for friends and loved ones. It was more than just a shopping experience – it was a vibrant celebration of community, creativity and connection. From finding the perfect holiday gift to exploring personal growth through wellness and spirituality, attendees left with more than just purchases – they left with inspiration, insight and a deeper sense of connection.
The Small Business Saturday with a Twist of Curiosity proved that holiday markets can be magical, offering a day that nourished both the soul and the community.
