The Eden Prairie School Board will take the oath of office during its annual organizational meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at the district’s Administrative Services Center.
Four current members will remain on the board: Steve Bartz, Aaron Casper, Abby Libsack, and Kim Ross, who was recently reelected. Two new members, Ann Bradsher and Jody Ward-Rannow, will replace outgoing members Charles “C.J.” Strehl and Dennis Stubbs.
The board is expected to discuss options for temporarily replacing member Debjyoti “DD” Dwivedy, who recently took a leave of absence. At its Dec. 9 meeting, the board considered asking Strehl or Stubbs to serve until Dwivedy’s projected return in late spring.
At the organizational meeting, the board will elect officers for the 2024-25 school year, including chair, vice chair, clerk, and treasurer, and approve school board compensation. It will also approve the 2024-25 school board meeting calendar, appoint a representative to Intermediate District 287, and address other organizational items.
Following the organizational meeting, the January board workshop is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.
Agendas and materials for the Jan. 6 organizational and workshop meetings are expected to be posted on the district’s website by that day. Anyone wishing to watch the organizational meeting remotely can do so over Zoom using the provided link.
