Education thought leader Bill Daggett will address the Eden Prairie Schools community at an upcoming Flight Plan 2035 Speaker Series event.
Flight Plan 2035 is the district’s initiative to imagine what learning will look like 10 years from now. Eden Prairie Schools hopes to gain as much community input and engagement as possible.
To this end, Daggett, an author, advisor and leading speaker on advancing education systems to meet the needs of each student, will lead a community conversation about the experiences, knowledge, skills and values Eden Prairie students will need in the future.
The free event will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 13, at Central Middle School’s Performing Arts Center. Families, staff, students, and community members are all welcome. RSVPs are not required but are requested for planning purposes, as food and childcare will be provided.
Spanish and Somali interpretation will be provided for those attending in person and also offered for those attending virtually.
This speaker series is made possible by the Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools (FEPS) and is part of their $100,000 grant in support of emerging technologies.
