
Eden Prairie punched its ticket to the Bantam AA State Tournament semifinals with a 4-2 victory over Osseo-Maple Grove on Friday at New Ulm Civic Center.
With the game tied 2-2 late in the third period, Owen Konrad delivered the game-winning goal for the Eagles, scoring with 3:31 remaining in regulation. Cade Wagner sealed the win with an empty-net goal in the final minute.
Eden Prairie (29-19-6) advances to face top-ranked Moorhead (46-5-0) in the semifinals at 4 p.m. Saturday in New Ulm.
Osseo-Maple Grove struck first, taking a 1-0 lead in the first period. In the second, Will Schultz tied the game with 12:02 remaining, and his brother, Charlie Schultz, put Eden Prairie ahead 2-1 a few minutes later. Osseo-Maple Grove evened the score before the end of the period, setting the stage for Konrad’s decisive goal in the third.
