It wasn’t just about math at Applewood Pointe of Eden Prairie on March 14. It was about community – and pie. Lots of pie.
To mark Pi Day (3.14), residents of the senior co-op rolled out a sweet spread that could rival any bakery case: cherry, apple, apple berry, blueberry, banana cream, pumpkin, strawberry rhubarb, key lime, and peanut butter chocolate, all served with generous swirls of Reddi-wip.
Eden Prairie police and fire personnel stopped by to share in the celebration, filling plates and trading stories with residents. The afternoon was less about formulas and more about friendship – a moment of warmth and laughter, where the only thing more plentiful than the pies was the sense of togetherness.
