Robert K. “Bob” Bob Larson, 93, of Eden Prairie, died peacefully on Feb. 17, 2025.

For more than 50 years, he shaped tennis, founding “Bob Larson’s Daily Tennis News” and leading the local U.S. Tennis Association as president (1987-88). His mantra was, “In life, as in tennis, nothing happens until someone serves.” A member of Edina Country Club, he cherished his vacation home in La Quinta, California, and founded the FOB Club at The Waters of Eden Prairie senior living community.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Verne and Edna, and his wife of 50 years, Jean, who died in 2010.
He is survived by his son, Cort Larson; daughter, Cara (Mike) Terwilliger; and grandchildren, Charlie and Alice Terwilliger, all of Minneapolis.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m., followed by a service at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at Christ Presbyterian Church in Edina. Arrangements are by Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, 952-920-3996
