Baby Petra and mom Margo, who recently moved to the neighborhood, got to know some of their neighbors at the Night to Unite block party on Grant Drive. 
On an evening when temperatures reached the high 90s and humidity was above 70 percent, the kids on Grant Drive enjoyed playing in the cold water from the Eden Prairie Fire Department’s fire hoses. 
The Eden Prairie Fire Department visited Night to Unite parties with fire trucks and fire hoses. Kids enjoyed getting a chance to direct the powerful stream of water.

Gianna Scott was intent on her bubble blowing in the backyard of the host house for the Grant Drive Night to Unite block party. 
Yard games at the Grant Drive block party for Night to Unite included balls and bubbles for the kids, like Grace and Gianna Scott, plus cornhole, flying discs and even tennis balls for the dogs to fetch. 
Rick Anderson, Gordon Williams, and Tony LeClerc engaged in some neighborly visiting by the grills at the Grant Drive Night to Unite block party. LeClerc, along with Nicki Winter, was a co-host of the party. 
Block party co-hosts Nicki Winter and Tony LeClerc set up a drop-off station for neighbors’ PROP donations at the Grant Drive block party. The Eden Prairie Fire Department collected the donations when the fire truck paid a visit to the party.

More than 150 neighborhoods in Eden Prairie participated. The annual summer event celebrates and strengthens the commitment to a safe community.
