Girls in Aviation Day!

Girls in Aviation Day 2022 is almost here! 

Taking place on Saturday September 24th from 10am to 3pm, the local Women in Aviation Chapter is hosting its annual “Girls in Aviation Day” event at Flying Cloud Airport, at the brand new Jet Linx hangar. The event is geared towards girls ages 8 to 17, but ALL are welcomed to attend! Bring your family, your group, your troop, your class!

This is a free, limited space event for the community to learn more about the aviation industry.

Representatives with commercial aviation, the US military, corporate/business aviation, general aviation, Collegiate, UAV, and MORE will be at this event to meet with you!

The content of GIAD is geared towards girls ages 8 to 17, but everyone is welcomed to attend! Bring your family, your friends, your troop and your group to learn more about aviation!

There will be pilots, aircraft, local companies, aviation schools, and many professionals on hand to talk about careers in aviation and in STEM to help inspire future generations to follow their own dreams into a future in aviation.

Hands-on educational activities will be demonstrated to help attendees learn about principles of aviation and STEM!

Food trucks will be onsite with food for sale, and attendees are welcomed to bring their own food and beverages as well – please no glass, and no alcohol.
