A successful school board member deeply knows the community they are serving and truly desires to bring academic excellence to every child who walks through the school doors.
It is easy for candidates to show up to a couple of events and take a couple of photographs prior to an election, but a true servant leader sees no other option than to be involved even when the cameras are not recording.
Debjyoti “DD” Dwivedy is actively engaged in the city of Eden Prairie, and it is clear that he genuinely cares about the community he has served over the past few years on the school board.
In addition to being regularly present at Eden Prairie community events and volunteering activities, DD is a member of a variety of councils and clubs including the Eden Prairie Rotary Club, Race & Equity Advisory Council of Hennepin County, and a former member of the Sustainability Commission of the City of Eden Prairie.
Participating in these groups not only shows DD’s level of commitment to the city and its people, but his high level of involvement has enabled DD to build relationships and gain insight into the needs of parents, students, and teachers in Eden Prairie.
When I go to the polls to vote for local government leaders, a track record of active engagement with the community is critical to me. I have seen the effort DD puts into serving the people of Eden Prairie, and that is why I will be voting for Debjyoti “DD” Dwivedy for Eden Prairie School Board in November.
Please consider voting for Debjyoti “DD” Dwivedy for Eden Prairie School Board on Nov. 8.
