Tavern 4 & 5 Bar & Grill in Eden Prairie will temporarily close for renovations, halting operations starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5. The restaurant plans to reopen on Monday, Feb. 13, after making updates to its kitchen and dining room facilities.
Dave Guistolise, director of operations for Nova Restaurants, which owns Tavern 4 & 5, confirmed in an email the renovations will consist of cosmetic updates, such as a fresh coat of paint, replacing wooden floors, and some new chairs.
The restaurant’s Facebook page noted that the reopening is “just in time for Valentine’s Day.”
Tavern 4 & 5, at 16396 Wagner Way, takes its name from its location near the crossroads of County Road 4 (Eden Prairie Road) and Highway 5. It has been open since 2013.
“To be clear, we are closing for a week but we are not doing anything ‘major.’ It is still going to look and feel exactly like Tavern 4 & 5. It’s more of a facelift or a refresh,” stated Guistolise, who had been the restaurant’s general manager for the first seven years it was open. “Honestly, it has been an amazing nearly 10 years in Eden Prairie, and we just want to be ready for 10 more!”
