Pond House & Hocokata Ti Dakota Museum Joint Program
Take a tour of the historic Pond House at 12:30 p.m. and learn about Gideon and Samuel Pond who came to Minnesota as missionaries to the Dakota people. At 1:30 p.m. visitors are invited to drive to Hocokata Ti, to tour this magnificent Dakota Museum in Shakopee which was created by the Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community. The house tour is free. General admission to Hocokata Ti is $8, children ages 6-12 and seniors $5, children under 6 are free. Tours of the Pond House will continue through 4 p.m.
