Bunny Yoga hopped into action at the Eden Prairie Community Center on Saturday morning, May 13, captivating participants with hare-raising bunny-human interactions.
Originally planned for the Senior Center, the event was relocated to accommodate the overwhelming response, with 54 participants of all ages registering for this unique yoga experience.
Amid the yoga flows, adorable and adoptable bunnies playfully roamed, creating a joyful and lively atmosphere.
All proceeds from Bunny Yoga, which featured rabbits provided by the organization itself, benefit the Rabbit Rescue of Minnesota.
This non-profit organization is dedicated to providing a safe haven for rabbits in need.
Operating as a 100% foster home-based and donor-funded initiative, Rabbit Rescue of Minnesota operates without offices or a dedicated building. All funds raised directly support the care and medical needs of the rabbits.
“Our mission is somewhat different than that of many other rescues as we take in sick, abused, neglected, abandoned and unwanted domestic rabbits, as well as rabbits from the public that are no longer wanted,” its website states. “We fundraise in order to get proper vetting and then focus on rehabilitation to ready our rabbits for their furever homes.”
