The Eden Prairie Historical Society hosted the Cummins Farmhouse Market and Vintage Sale at the historic Cummins-Phipps-Grill House on Nov. 10-11.
This event offered visitors a unique opportunity to explore various vintage and antique items provided by The PROP Shop of Eden Prairie.
Located at 13600 Pioneer Trail just across from Flying Cloud Airport, the historic house hosted a sale that seamlessly integrated elements of history and antiquing. Attendees could leisurely explore the collection while immersing themselves in the house’s historical ambiance. Hot cider was available to enhance the event’s festive atmosphere. Additionally, visitors had the option to tour the house.
What added to the event’s significance was its charitable mission.
All proceeds generated from sales at The PROP Shop were earmarked to support local families in need, making this event not only a journey through history but also a meaningful cause.
Constructed between 1879 and 1880, this brick farmhouse was originally built for John R. and Mattie Cummins. Named after the three families who resided there, the house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
It is owned by the city and leased by the Eden Prairie Historical Society for meetings and other events.
