The Eagles girls hockey team lost 3-0 to the No. 2-ranked Edina Hornets Tuesday night at the Eden Prairie Community Center.
Eagles goalie Tegan Swanson put up a strong fight, blocking 39 of 42 shots.
This defeat leaves Eden Prairie with a season record of 5-5-1.
The team is gearing up for their next challenge, a Saturday, Dec. 16, away game against Wayzata at 2:30 p.m.
