The Foundation for Eden Prairie Schools (FEPS) is accepting nominations for its 2024 Legacy Awards until 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23.
FEPS established the Legacy Awards in 2008 to honor outstanding teachers, staff, students, volunteers, alumni and community members who contribute to the success and excellent reputation of the school district.
“We are thrilled to continue recognizing the wonderful leaders contributing to the success of Eden Prairie Schools,” said Lisa Sisinni, FEPS executive director. “This program will allow us to shine a spotlight on individuals who are passionate about and dedicated to advocating for Eden Prairie students.”
To participate, nominations can be submitted online on behalf of outstanding individuals from across Eden Prairie who have gone above and beyond to make a difference in the lives of Eden Prairie students. Five winners will be awarded for their contributions.
One winner will be awarded in each of the following categories: Staff of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Alumnus or Community Leader of the Year, with two winners awarded in the Teacher of the Year category, one for early childhood-grade 5 teachers and one for grades 6-12 and TASSEL teachers.
Legacy Award winners and nominees will be recognized at FEPS’s Red and Black Gala on April 12 at Bearpath Golf and Country Club.
