I just read about the new Round Lake Park building. What an amazing addition to that community park. I recall building the original shelter 40 years ago, and some of the comments we received at that time were that we had spent too much money on a park shelter. How times have changed! This park shelter cost more than the original Community Center.
I continue to be impressed by how well the citizens of Eden Prairie appreciate and utilize their great park system, and how they are willing to keep and improve the many facilities they have to enjoy.
Eden Prairie has many great natural amenities, but the city’s greatest asset is the number of residents who are willing to support the preservation and upkeep of those natural amenities.
Congratulations to the Eden Prairie City Council, Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources Commission, and the city staff for another great addition to your park system!
