Eden Prairie is accepting nominations for its 2023 Human Rights Awards until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, March 29.
The awards, as described by the city, aim to recognize individuals, non-profit organizations, businesses, and youth for their efforts in promoting human rights and diversity, as well as fostering inclusive community spirit through impactful actions, activities, or programs.
The Human Rights and Diversity Commission will select winners in April. A formal presentation and recognition ceremony of the recipients will take place during an Eden Prairie City Council meeting in the spring.
To submit nominations online, visit the city’s website. Alternatively, nomination forms can be obtained in person at City Center, 8080 Mitchell Road.
For more information, contact Jonathan Stanley, staff liaison for the Human Rights and Diversity Commission, at 952-949-8394.
