Halloween in Hopkins

Halloween in Hopkins takes place Saturday, October 26th from 11 AM – 2 PM. Many businesses and organizations become “Treat Stops” throughout Hopkins to give away Halloween candy and goodies to Trick-or-Treaters. Most of the Treat Stops will be located on Mainstreet in downtown Hopkins between 8th and 11th avenue. On Clocktower Plaza (Mainstreet and 9th Ave) we will host two competitions – one Group Costume Contest at 12 PM and one Pet Costume Contest at 12:30 PM. Prizes donated by local Hopkins businesses will be awarded to the winners. There is no cost to enter, just show up with your group and register day-of at the JCI Hopkins table near the Clocktower. In addition to the Trick-or-Treating and Costume Contests there will be games and activities throughout Hopkins, such as Spooky Stories read by the librarian and a Haunted Jail Tour at the police department. This family-friendly event draws thousands into Downtown Hopkins each year.
