Please join us virtually for our very 1st Annual International Day of Persons with Disabilities Celebration
Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am CT.
Our goal is celebrating individuals with disabilities while learning how to be more inclusive by sharing personal stories–building back better: towards an inclusive, accessible and sustainable post COVID-19 world by, for and with persons with disabilities.

Presenter:
Brittanie Wilson
Brittanie Wilson has a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Saint Cloud State University. Brittanie was born with a Disability called Arthrogryposis and uses an electric wheelchair. Recently Brittanie recently took part in Partners in Policymaking – a self advocacy course aimed at people with Disabilities. In addition, Brittanie is the communications officer for the Minnesota Council on Disability. She also serves on the Governors Council for Developmental Disabilities, MNCCD, and is on a leadership group for SEIU Homecare MN where she hopes to gain better wages for PCA’s. The advancement of Disabled people is a strong passion and Brittanie hopes to encourage others in the community to become advocates in all areas of life. Outside of advocacy, Brittanie enjoys reading, photography, “zooming” on the trails, hanging with friends, and creating art.
