The smell of fried fish flooded Immanuel Lutheran Church in preparation for the Let’s Go Fishing Eden Prairie area chapter’s annual fish fry fundraiser on March 19. Let’s Go Fishing is a volunteer organization that gives fishing experiences to seniors, veterans, youths and disabled adults free of charge. Beginning in Willmar in 2002, the organization has grown to 19 chapters throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin. Have you ever had a driving desire to become a ninja? If so, there’s a place in Eden Prairie that can help you get there. In fact, they not only train budding ninjas, but hold competitions for them, as well. Obstacle Academy held a Ninja Sport Championship qualifier on Jan. 29. More than 80 athletes put their ninja skills to the test during the competition.
