FEPP Garlic Mustard Pull at Riley Creek Woods

Join Friends of Eden Prairie Parks pulling garlic mustard in Riley Creek Woods Conservation area. We will start by signing waivers then have a brief tutorial on garlic mustard identification. Afterwards we will walk into the woods with bags. We will fill our bags with any invasive garlic mustard spotted. No herbicide application required. Just bring yourself and gardening gloves. A kneeling pad is optional. We will bring digging sticks. Please wear sturdy shoes since the dirt paths can sometimes be muddy.

These are fun events during spring ephemeral season. We will be walking a mile or so into the woods while enjoying the spring wildflowers, sedges and ferns. Occasionally Mourning Cloak butterflies will flutter by!

RSVP is recommended but not required, email Marilynn
