Student Mental Health: What Parents Need to Know

Join the EPHS PTO for this important event centered around helping parents of high schoolers navigate the historic mental health crisis happening in our country today.

Jessica Mathwig-Olson and Libby Haight from the Washburn Center for Children will talk to us about signs to watch for in our kids, how to navigate conversations and ways to support our children overall. They will also be providing informational handouts parents can take with them, including information on local resources.

Jessica is the director of school-based services and leads the team that serves the Eden Prairie School District so don’t miss this opportunity to also learn more about how Washburn partners with our EPHS Counseling Team in supporting our students every day. Some of our EPHS Counselors will also be available to speak about this partnership and how they can best support you as a parent with your student’s mental health as well.
