The Minnesota Ballet Theatre performs “The Nutcracker”

The Minnesota Ballet Theatre performs “The Nutcracker” this December at the Eden Prairie Performing Arts Center. The timeless classic will be danced with the original 1892 choreography in the classical style, featuring guest performers and Minnesota Ballet School dancers ranging from five years old to high school seniors.

DESCRIPTION:

Minnesota Ballet Theatre presents its 23rd annual production of Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker,” a timeless holiday tradition. This classical ballet performance is faithful to the original choreography by Marius Petipa, which first debuted in 1892 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.

The nonprofit production features professional guest performers and dedicated Minnesota Ballet School students, from the littlest snowflakes (pre-school) to the graceful snow queen (high school).
