Wings of the North Spring Pancake Breakfast
On Saturday, May 3, 2025, the Wings of the North Air Museum will hold its annual spring Pancake Breakfast in its hangars on Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie. Hours are 8am to 11am or while supplies last. The cost is $10 per adult, $25 for a family of two adults and two kids, $5 for additional kids ages 6 to 12, and free for kids age 5 and under. Museum admission is included with the cost of the breakfast!
On display will be the 1950 Aeronca airplane that will be given away later this year in the WOTN 2025 Airplane Sweepstakes! Entries into the sweepstakes are available on the WOTN website. The Grand Prize drawing will be held at the group’s fall pancake breakfast. The winner of the sweepstakes will have their choice of either the aircraft or $30,000! Details are available at www.wotn.org/sweepstakes.
Other aircraft will also be on display including the BT-15 World War II training aircraft which has been undergoing a complete restoration by Wings of the North volunteers and is expected to make its first flight in over 70 years this summer! The museum emphasizes Minnesota’s aviation stories and proudly displays the replica of the Spirit of St. Louis aircraft which was flown across the Atlantic Ocean by Minnesotan Charles Lindbergh in May of 1927. This replica was displayed for many years in the main passenger terminal at the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport!
Access to Flying Cloud Airport is through Gate H, one mile west of Flying Cloud Drive on Pioneer Trail.
