Winter History Festival
Learn how to use snowshoes and take a guided tour of the park at this free program. Snowshoes will be provided. Play outdoor games like Fox and Geese in the snow. Then warm up by the Pond House fireplace and join Miles Jewell as he demonstrates from candles to whale oil the unique tools early Americans used to light their homes and communities. Hear illuminating tales of the perils and possibilities of early American lighting!
